Here's my Metal Men design for this week, I have to confess I had no idea who they are- but I didn't half enjoy finding out about them. That's one of the things I'm loving about being involved in Doomed Patrol, a chance to find out more about comics, and other characters I have missed out on! I tried to do something with an aged feel, colour wise - and In the end I was torn between posting this and a greyscale version, because that looked older still. Anyways, enough blah blah, Hope you likes it!

Took just over an hour to do. Most of that was colouring. I seem to have drawn Matt Smith's Doctor, only with a pipe and a gun.
Second task!
Okay Patrol, the next task is my choice and I've chosen DC comics The Metal Men. They are a team of six shape shifting robots and their Inventor. I'll let you google them if you aren't familiar with them. Do a single character or the whole group, whatever you have time for. Since it is nearly the end of wednesday, let's say this ones deadline is for next thursday.

Believe it or not, the only comic book heroes I've drawn in the past have been copied straight out of comic books, meaning this is the first super-hero I've drawn in my own style. Because of that I found it a bit of a challenge, but I'm pretty glad with how it turned out, and I had a lot of fun doing it!
